PV 6442 LINE ADJUSTER CHICAGO STANDARD TRANSFORMER CORP Product Information: This Heavy Black Metal line adjuster seems to be in good working order. It powers up and the needle moves when plugged in (Please see all photos of working transformer). I do not know a lot about this type of equipment so I am selling it as is. This item weighs 9 lbs. 5 oz. without packaging materials. Measures 6.5" x 5.5" x 4" This transformer was made in either 1958 or 1959 after Stancor took over Chicago Standard Transformer Corp. Stancor kept CST's part #s & made them their own. Any line adjusting transformer labeled Chicago Standard was likely made before or during 1958. Both companies made excellent, durable transformers.
