These Eaton Weatherhead 1800Kx10 Collet Repair Kits (5/8 Tube O.D.) are ideal for air brake systems, with the exception of those operating at temperatures above +200°F or where battery acid may drip on tubing. Avoid using these kits for fuel, water, or oil applications. They offer quick and easy assembly, are reusable and are a one-piece fitting. The kits meet D.O.T. FMVSS 571.106 and SAE J1131 air brake system performance requirements, have moderate vibration resistance and can withstand temperatures ranging from -40°F to +200°F (-40°C to +93°C). They are made from CA360 Brass (Body & Collet) EP (Ethylene Propylene) O-Ring and are used with SAE J844 Type A and B Eaton Air Brake Tubing.
