Rare Fairchild "uL903" RTL (Resistor Transistor Logic IC's) LOT OF 2 PIECES These are some of the first IC’s ever… Designed by Fairchild in the early 60’s.  RTL was considered  the first logic family, followed by DTL (Diode Transistor Logic)  and then TTL (Transistor Transistor Logic).   The uL903 is a three input NOR gate, internally constructed  with only four resistors and three transistors...An early RTL  “Resistor Transistor Logic" IC. The uL903 was produced by the Planar Process, a process invented  by Fairchild in 1959. The Planar Process is now used to produce all IC's. These parts are historic and collectible.   Datasheets for the uL903 can be found here: http://www.datasheetarchive.com/dl/Scans-026/ScansUX9541.pdf Please note: The above pdf is LARGE (Fairchild 1969 Semiconductor  Catalog, you will need to give it time to load).  The uL903 is on  page 4-20 of the catalog.  Part number in catalog is: uL9903.   The part itself is marked “uL90322-616” (Fairchild used a complicated  marking system).  The 616 is the date code, made 16th week of 1966.   Logic families were not very "standard" back then, and this part was  no exception.  "Loading and driving" ability varied part to part.  The uL903 is  in the same family as the more popular uL914, but not as widely used. These parts are becoming extremely rare.  These are genuine,  historic, Fairchild Integrated Circuits. You will receive two Fairchild uL903 IC’s per Buy-It-Now.
Historic IC's (Integrated Circuits)... Designed before DTL and TTL even existed. Unused, NOS rare Fairchild parts.
