This auction is for one 44mm IQ ( Intelligent ) Surface Mount Tape Feeders and one 44mm tape feeder reel arms for QUAD Q series and C series pick and place machines. This is a newer 8 pin feeder and will work on the newer intelligent base machines as well as the older non IQ machines. Including but not limited to QUAD QSV-1 / Plus, QSP-2, QSX-1, QSP-2, C4, C2, 3,QSA, APS-1 and 4000C and 1000. The feeder electronically advances when pick nozzle or your finger interrupts the pickup sensor. The feeder will tape advance and rewind when using the black and red switches. This feeder has newer capstan idler rubber and will advance smoothly and without excess noise. Idler rubber does not have bumps or dead spots that are common from storage or age. The tape take up reel is in good condition and advances. Contact pins are all in good condition. The reel arm holder is an extra bonus and add at least 35.00 in value to the auction. Most dealers selling feeders charge extra for reel arms and the larger ones are often not even available. You will get the feeder pictured. This feeder has version 3.40 firmware. Video of the feeder in the auction under test on the bench, taken a few days before the auction, is available by request. One of the pictures shows the feeder under power in a feeder base during the video. Winning bidder or BIN will have the option to purchase additional feeders.
