Shop made lathe quick change holder adapter for using BXA size holders on a CA toolpost.  The BXA holder is held onto the adapter similar to the way a piston type toolpost works.  In the second picture, there is a hole shown in the middle of the BXA size dovetail.  A set screw is accessed from the CA dovetail side and tightened against the center of the BXA holder to lock it on the dovetail.  The BXA holder is attached to the adapter first at the approximate desired center height, then the adapter is put on the CA toolpost, the height is adjusted to the proper center height with the height adjusting screw on the adapter, and the CA toolpost tightening system locks the adapter in place. If you have a CA toolpost and a bunch of BXA holders that don't fit, this is one way to make use of the BXA holders.  It is probably not the most precise/repeatable setup, but it seems to work for the purpose intended.
