Get Vendio Gallery - Now FREE!           Tonight we are listing for sale an AWESOME 1920's CAST IRON DUPLEX, PUSH BUTTON FIRE ALARM ON A  11" WOODEN STAND.......              THIS OVER SIZED FIRE ALARM MAKES FOR A SAFE AND AWESOME DISPLAY OF AN EARLY ALARM........          THE BODY OF THE ALARM MEASURES 8" WITH AN OPENING DOOR THAT IS KEY LOCKED, AND IS BASICALLY A ROUND DRUM WITH EMBOSSING THAT STATES FIRE ALARM....A.F.B. WITH THE NAME OF DUPLEX PATENT.......Was it produced for, and used on an early Air Force Base?......I don't know and can find no information on this alarm.....           THERE IS A BRASS PUSH BUTTON THAT IS COVERED BY GLASS, AND A CAST IRON DOOR THAT OPENS WITH A KEY (THAT'S INCLUDED) .......          When I got this piece the alarm door was broken, but I had it welded, and not just spot welded, but I had the whole seam reinforced, . so it's pretty secure.....I also mounted it on a 11" Wooden Base with steel piping, so that it sits about 4" High, and makes a great display.......What a Great Piece of early firefighting equipment......          Because of the weight of this Alarm, there will be NO SHIPPING on this piece, and the new owner is welcome to pick this item up at my home for free.....
