I have some beautiful rare breeds and my hens are laying more eggs than I can incubate. Offering 7 available hatching eggs (6 plus 1 or more extras)included just in case. Excellent 90%++ fertility rate. This prized Austrian chicken dates back to the 1700's. It was almost wiped by World War One and Two. Only through the efforts of diligent poultry fanciers has this whimsical yet practical bird been kept in exsistence. Hens are crested and excellent layers of good numbers of tasty eggs. The roosters have unique S-curve feather in their tail and are renowned for the their meat quality. While not auto-sexing at birth within a few weeks the coloring differences in feathers makes it easy to tell hen from rooster in some color varities. An important attribute to city chicken keepers. All of my Sumtaler breeding stock birds came directly from Greenfire Farms. I have attached several pictures of the parent birds owned by us. Eggs will be shipped out USPS priority mail on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays only. They will be individually bubble wrapped and packed in shredded paper. Please note that hatch rate and fertility rate are different. Hatch rates can vary widely depending on the post offices handling of your eggs in transit and your incubating conditions.
