This is an extremely rare and quite interesting original late 1960s era electrical engineering catalog or brochure for the Lindsey Manufacturing Company, featuring the outfit's renowned designs and Innovations in Pole Line Specialties. This brochure is titled "The New Look In Power Poles", and I hazard a guess that it was published circa late 1960s, as the Company was founded in 1947, and there is a reference in the text on the rear paper cover that mentions the growth of the outfit over the past 20 years. Now located in Azusa, California, at the time of this publication they were in Pasadena at 222 Vista Avenue. The brochure includes sections on their line of insulator arms, extension arms, mounting brackets, drill jigs, pole top brackets, dead ends, side arm bases, pot head adapters, etc., and also a rear cover survey of the company's history of product innovation in the field.                                          The booklet/brochure is in generally very fine condition, with clean and supple pages and illustrated paper covers clean and with all text and illustrations nicely detailed, the stapled binding still snug and in good shape, and showing only minimal edge wear and tiny corner bumps, with a small neatly cut out piece missing of approximately 2" by 3/4" to the lower center of the front cover. It measures approximately 11" by 8 1/2" overall, and is 12 pages including the covers.                                          Please don't hesitate to email me with any questions you might have regarding this item, and I'll do my best to provide a satisfactory and timely reply. Overseas bidders are welcome, but must also take into account that shipping to other countries may translate into somewhat higher postal charges, and that if you wish to have the item insured, when the service is available, it will also have to be declared as to actual value for customs, which will add more fees and perhaps value added taxes in your respective countries. I'm willing to be flexible about shipping items at the cheapest possible rates, but can't be responsible for items that are either damaged or go missing when not insured against that unfortunate possibility.
