Wow, Up for auction is this beautiful Wooden coin sorter by Ruth Bryan Dugas called the SHIMMY-SHAKE-O. Made in ATLANTA I, GA. Excellent mortised corners. Little to no rust on the metal / tin, wood in excellent condition. Bottom stamped COIN SORTER "SHIMMY-SHAKE-O: TRADE MARK REG. PAT. PEND. RUTH BRYAN DUGAS P.O. BOX 1105 ATLANTA I, GA.. all trays are numbered 1 through 5. we tested it with a hand full of mixed pocket change and it worked flawlessly. Still has name plate on tray number 5. each tray measures 12 1/2" x 6 1/2" and they stand just a hair over 4 1/2" when stacked. Excellent piece Our photos are part of our description.
