Rebuilt Razor Slitter Center Duplex Rewinder Brief Description:Unknown manufacturer. Reconditioned in Summer 2015, used for a few jobs and now in storage. The air-shafts, motor, gearbox, holders, shafts, controls were not replaced during reconditioning. Mostly everything was stripped down and cleaned. There is no rust on this machine. Machine was powdercoated RAL 6011 and is very easy to clean. Machine sits on 4 casters and is easy to move around and store. Everything moves freely. Machine has counter that came with it but the encoder was not installed when I received the machine, so it does not work.   This is a very simple slitting machine. I used machine for slitting thin tissue paper products and a few nonwoven materials. Razor blades seemed to work fine for these applications. I mainly ran roll to roll and didn't need a counter. Counter hardware (excluding bracket) comes with machine but needs to be hooked up.  Unwind Specifications: Accepts 3" paper cores Runs up to 12" diameter (Certain materials I did run up to 14") Maximum Material Width 60" Simple pneumatic belt brake on unwind w/regulator to control tension (requires maximum 40 psi) Rewind Specifications: Accepts 3" paper cores Runs up to 12" diameter (Certain materials I did run up to 14") Maximum material width 60" Simple KB Drive with speed control Dual center rewind Speed: Up to 125 ft/min (Can run faster since there is no real taper control on the size of roll) 110V Slitter Specifications: Can slit down to 1/2" wide Total of 15 razor blade knife holders Uses standard razor blades which can be bought at a hardware store which are easily fitted in the adapters. Shipping: Buyer is responsible for shipping/pick-up. I typically use an LTL shipping and can provide you with a contact name.  Machine is currently not on pallet. It will cost me about $125 to build a pallet.
