Shapex is a portable and environmentally friendly coder that is used for printing codes, dates, times and text onto glass and plastic bottles and other round products. With our patented self-inking technology, customers can create codes for products that are easy to read and recognizable. Each year, over $165 Billion worth of uncooked food is wasted because items in households are expired and thrown out, averaging out to about $1500 per home. Re-coding products with a code that is large and clearly visible may help consumers use perishable products before they are expired, essentially, reducing the amount of waste per household. Our basic Shapex units have been developed and purchased in the market for many years now. They are currently being used in the cosmetic and toiletry industry for marking and product identification purposes. Ink and dot matrix style fonts (text) are not included, but are available at a very low cost. Just message us the size you want and we will send you the price.
