The Tek 2465B is a well designed 4channel 400MHz bandwidth portable package, made from mid-1988 to mid-1996 that would be useful for decades to come. Costs only a tiny fraction of its  $9,000 new price, yet years from now well maintained 2465Bs (last scopes Tek made to be repairable), will still be able to faithfully serve their owners, as the pile of unrepairable junked DSOs grows ever bigger...     Will be shipped to you freshly calibrated, with instructions book on CD, power cord, and 90 days GUARANTY (my parts & labor, your shipping)... READY TO USE !    Since the listing is for multiple quantity (usually stock 20+, with possible options you may select below), the photos will likely not be of the specimen you'll get, but rest assured any 2465B I send out will be in excellent cosmetic & electrical shape (if you'd provide your email or cell/MMS & options you'd get, I could send you exact photos). First photo shows leading edge of a 1MHz square wave whose risetime (and that of the scope) reads about 1.10nS (would be 0.88nS if source risetime was instantaneous), consistent with the capability of a 400MHz scope. This is a far more stringent test than others showing a scope can display trace zero signal lines or 1KHz signals. 2nd photo shows response of scope to "autoscale+measure frequency" of a 1KHz signal from a time mark generator. 3rd photo shows result of asking scope to "autoscale+measure volts" of a 2Vpp signal. Note it tells you it goes positive from ground and that it spends more time on than off since the average is slighly more than 1V. 4th photo shows response to 2 equal amplitude signals one at 40MHz, the other 400MHz. Yes, the 400MHz looks slightly smaller, but by definition, on a 400MHz scope, 400MHz can be 30% smaller, which clearly it is not 30% smaller. 5th photo shows the optional front cover and top pouch you can add (see below available extras). 6th photo shows optional pair of  P6137 probes you can add. 7th photo shows left side of scope with 2 new P6063B switchable probes you can add. 8th photo shows optional 19" rackmount cradle.      I choose to work on 2400s because they were the last repairable scopes Tek made (newer TDSs are unrepairable, mostly because schematics are Tek secrets, and Tek won't sell parts after 3 years). 2400s are my specialty, so mine shall arrive working correctly, whether you're buying just 1 or several to outfit an entire lab or classroom. Please keep in mind if buying another's 2465B, that chances are, regardless of price, almost certain theirs will have problems (I buy 2465Bs too, and I know should be expected at their age). Others sell them because they need fixing (whether they know it or not), I sell them only after I've fixed them... and that is reflected in my higher prices (can't expect those selling for $400 or so to have had Li battery+NVRAM or other failing parts replaced).     I urge clients to contact me before bidding so I can suggest matching accessories and/or options to best suit your needs and budget. Besides the obvious avenue of contact, there are 2 others you will discover if you read feedbacks I left for others. AVAILABLE EXTRAS (yes you can 'make offer' for more than BIN price):  400MHz 10:1 Tek P6137 probes for $150/each (vs $400/ea new from Tek); 200MHz 10:1 and direct 1:1 switchable Tek P6063B for $120/ea new(cost $400 new from Tek); TV Sync Option 5 for $170; FREQ COUNTER option 6 for $340 (cost $1000 from Tek), GPIB option 10 for $170; top pouch for $40, rackmounting for FREE (on domestic US sales only); low hours unit or unit with new/unused CRT for $680 more... let me know if you want any of these add-ons... and the way you can pay for them is by using the "make offer" button and adding for what you want.   Please do not offer LESS than B-I-N price on ebay unless you'd be ok with a lesser scope (you can get cheaper 2465Bs from others on ebay), or you're doing it to reduce import tax as described in next paragraph. 'Make offer' here is for offering more to add 'extras'.   The $1026 BIN price directs to me only $900... how?: Even when you offer B-I-N price, you are already offering me 14% less, since ebay keeps 10-11% in sales commission (which buys you the right to grade me in feedback), and paypal keeps 3-4% to move your money (and offers you speed & consumer protection). If you don't want to pay $1026 for me to only see $900, I can only suggest you first buy one of my $5 handle labels on ebay. Ebay will then give you all my contact info with any first purchase, enabling a more efficient second purchase.    I ship worldwide. Ebay requires I let you pay with Paypal. Paypal requires I ship with a carrier that provides tracking & delivery confirmation, which Airmail cannot provide internationally. Ebay has its own Global Shipping Program that offers decent tracking and reasonable rates to many countries... It does not allow me to change box size or weight (like bigger for rackmounted version). It asks client to prepay import tax into his country based on country's tax rate and sold price on ebay. To high taxing countries, the only way to reduce the import tax is to reduce the sold price on ebay. This is the only exception reason to "make offer" for less than BIN on ebay. If you do this to reduce your import tax, I will accept your offer for less only if you clearly state in your offer's terms that this is why you're doing it, that you will shortly pay me the difference, and that you agree that I don't have to send you a full 2465B until you fully pay me (the first payment will give you my paypal name for making the second). Many countries tax imports at 30% (some more, some less) so paying $30 tax on a "$100" scope would be a lot less than paying $300 tax on my full price. I should also add that when we reduce customs value we also reduce insurance value, but losses with my shipping methods are extremely rare.    You get a 14 day right of return for refund or exchange, provided you don't breach tamper seals, return everything in same shape as received, pack it as well as I, and pay for all shipping. This is separate from the 90 day guaranty.  HURRY UP INCENTIVE: If you pay BIN (not less on ebay) by Cyber Monday 1 Dec 14, I will ADD FREE: 2 probes.  QUANTITY DISCOUNT: Buy 9 and get 10th FREE ! (great if you're oufitting an entire classroom/lab). California residents pay sales tax (but I'll try to make it up to you by adding something).
