I'm going to start off and say that this is the 2nd ugliest set of Prusa i2 parts you'll see on eBay. (the most ugliest was the first set I already sold)But they should work great. History: I built myself a Prusa i2 and then a Lyman filament extruder and have started experimenting with recycling plastics. I bought a bunch of ABS regrind and started processing both that and my old discarded prints together into filament. Because the regrind is meant for injection molding, the viscosity is higher, so I've been using a 1mm nozzle at 0.5mm layer height, which is huge compared to normal nozzles. And because I still need to tune the printer, I've basically been printing Prusa i2 parts as a test, and keeping any that are structurally sound. Now that I've tried like 20 of the Prusa foot vertexes, I have a set of Prusa i2 parts I'd like to sell off to help fund my experiments. I'd recommend that an experienced builder use these.   Much of the ugliness comes from the initial solid infills for the top layer fail to stick to the walls when the print happens too fast, or from the fact that it's hard to print perfect detail with such a fat nozzle, so often times there's either too much or too little plastic extruded when perimeters and infill come together. They're quite sturdy since the plastic is harder than normal parts and because of the thickness of the layers and filament. I even gave myself blisters using heavy duty wire cutters to break apart the unusable prints. Notes: It's a weird uneven green color from the other colored ABS I had mixed in. They will need some cleanup and touchup work in the smaller cavities, especially on where the nuts drop into the extruder and some of the other pieces. The 2 extruder gears aren't stock. They're herringbone gears, not the original straight ones. (I use the same design on my printer; as shipped by makerfarm.com) The parts are for the LM8UU linear bearings variant of Prusa i2. Made from recycled ABS, primarily Lustran 433.
Condition New other (see details) :
A new, unused item with absolutely no signs of wear. The item may be missing the original packaging, or in the original packaging but not sealed. The item may be a factory second or a new, unused item with defects. See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections.
Seller Notes They're fresh prints, but they're my test prints, so they look awful but should be functional.
