Hewlett Packard Model 200C Wide Range Audio Oscillator (S/N# A2203). Item is in FAIR overall physical condition and needs a FULL restoration. This item was Hewlett Packard’s 3rd series of their original product and the 200C offered a 4th range that allowed the unit to cover 20-200KHz in 4 ranges. We believe that this unit is an early production unit from the early 1940’s and it appears to be complete. The power cord was old and cracked with bare wire exposed so we cut it off. There is light surface rust on the unit since these early units had very thin paint but with a little steel wool cleaning and some good Grey enamel paint, this unit could be made to look very nice. The last time it was calibrated according to a calibration sticker on the side of the unit was in the very early 1960’s. Due to the early Serial number A2203, This unit would make a nice addition to someone’s antique Hewlett Packard test equipment collection and would be a simple, fun restoration project. This item came from the estate of a radio collector who valued equipment such as this. This item was very well designed and is beautifully constructed with excellent quality components and it would make a nice addition to someone’s workshop or laboratory. To insure that the Audio Oscillator arrives in good condition it has been very carefully packaged with excellent packaging materials in a very sturdy 21 X 16 X 13 inch Box with a packaged weight of approximately 30 pounds and it ships from Zip Code 92603.
