I bought this gearbox to upgrade my ares g36 but unfortunately it doesn't fit the AEG due to its unique hop up chamber design. It should fit other AEG that uses TM version 3 gearbox perfectly :) since I assembled this gearbox once, even thought I never put it to field use, the test fire left some mark but it is as good as new. It is the best gearbox I've seen in my 5 year teaching experience and I am selling this out at reduced price. Spec are below: Retro ARMS 7075 T6 CNC Machined QSC V3 Gearbox Shell Manufactured by: Retro ARMS Details: Retro ARMS is a Czech company that uses its own manufacturing facilities to produce beautiful, high-grade Gearbox parts. These Gearbox Shells are fully CNC machined from a block of 7075 T6 Grade Aluminum. The 7075 T6 Aluminum is ridiculously strong and can endure a ton of stress. These new QSC shells come with QSC Spring Guides, which allow the user to replace a spring in seconds. The QSC system also drastically reduces maintenance and upgrade time. Closing Gearbox shells can sometimes be problematic and time consuming, but that is not a problem with this Retro ARMS QSC shell. Users running very strong springs will benefit more from this Gearbox shell. This shell is 100% aligned and has several features (besides its material) that make it stand out. -Large grooves for 2.5 mm silicone wires -Accurate hole to match the Anti-Reversal Latch so the latch does not fall -Accurate hole for the trigger -- won't jump even with strong springs. -Perfectly aligned 8mm bushing holes for optimal gear meshing. -The guide grooves for the piston are in one piece -- no jamming of the piston on the rear window. -The groove under the triggering contacts avoid possible short circuits when using MOSFET switches. -Micro-sized grooves on the pins that hold the trigger and spring shuttle feeder hangers. Avoids popping springs. Although these Gearbox shells have a big price tag, they are actually far cheaper than similar CNC Machined Gearboxes on the market. This package comes with the gearbox shell and the spring guide.
