I try to keep shipping costs down as much as possible, so items like books and clothing are generally shipped in Tyvek envelopes. I try to use these as much as possible, for other items as well, especially when the item can safely be shipped in this manner and will not be damaged from the gentle care and handling received from the Post office. I try to use "natural" and or environmentally friendly packing material such as shredded paper and newspaper (to make up for the use of Tyvek) so sometimes shipping may be a bit higher, but it's for a good cause. The post office requires verification of damage to make a claim so on the off chance your items arrive damaged, you need to make the claim with the post office with either photos of the damaged item or the item itself. As much as I try to get your items to you on a timely basis, once they leave me, I have no control over what the post office does, or how long they take to deliver.
