RETRO Vintage Glass HEAD Mannequin - Hat Wig Display Vintage Hand wrought (but mold assisted) GLASS MANNEQUIN Head in MINT condition (a few air bubble inclusions) to display your favorite Military Service Hat or Helmet; MILLINERY Masterpiece ; or EYEGLASSES/Goggles, because this glass head is anatomically correct and they shall not slide off the nose and ears ! (UNLIKE the blue glass head I saw at the ANTIQUE Extravanganza in West Palm Beach, Florida on January 7 , 2010 at a dealer's booth- my eye glasses would NOT fit on the glass head and stay put - kept falling off the blue glass head - and cost $50 ! ) Great to Display eyeglasses in Optometrist's or Optician's dispensary, or Fur Hat in Furrier's. Display and keep prized HEADPHONES safe. Have a museum to display a CIVIL WAR kepi ? (DID you KNOW that stryofoam heads emit a gas which can DESTROY leather and eventually cloth ?) This is part of a shipment I had custom made for VISUAL THEATRICS (trademark), a subsidiary of Accent on Eyes about 25 years ago which has the original paper label with the country of origin of SPAIN affixed to each head almost a quarter of a century ago. I RECENTLY SOLD A CASE OF 4 BACK to Europe to a clothing designer who could no longer replace the last one she had inherited from her mother decades old for her clothing botique shops in Switzerland (BECAUSE THIS MANUFACTURER IS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS - SO WHEN THESE ARE GONE - THERE ARE NO MORE !) Measures about 11 inches high and about 8 inches from back of head to nose, it is a little over 6 inches wide from ear to ear and is a piece of substantial weight (may run 5 pounds with packing materials). NO junky snap -on plastic cover for cotton balls on this baby !
