This listing is for (1) 3-foot long by 2-inch diameter Reuter-Stokes, Helium-3 Filled, neutron sensitive proportional counter. It has been tested and confirmed working by a member of the nuclear community, not some random surplus auctioneer. It is an extremely sensitive tube that works with most Ludlum instruments.  I used a Ludlum model-12 and model-2200 with this tube with great ease, discrimination is easily done.  With a small 300uCi Am:Be source placed a few inches away the tube reads several hundred counts per minute.
