For sale is a very nice robotic arm. This arm is powered by a planetary gear driven motor that has lots of strength at 12 V DC. One end of this unit has four microswitch snap action switches phased 90° from one another. The wires with the green casing leads to these switches. If you look closely at the photographs one of them shows this unit attached to a power supply and it is running. I reversed the polarity several times and tested the unit and it works beautifully in both directions. Be careful not to pinch your fingers on the screwheads near the pivot because this unit is strong and it would probably tear up your fingers.  I think the Motor is manufactured by Globe Industries. It is a heavy duty motor with a ball bearing supported armature and the type of carbon brushes that can be replaced if needed. There is a hole on one of the aluminum arms that looks like it has the tip of a tap broken off in the hole.
