This would be the perfect Christmas gift for the engine collector. Winter projects. I have 2 ROOT & VANDERVOORT hit miss gas engines that will only sell together. The 4 hp CL was a complete motor that was taken down for restoration and never got back to. It has been sitting for 20 plus years. It has the rarely seen WIZARD 4S MAGNETO and brackets that were a factory option. The 4S mag was disassembled When I purchased it and the armature was unwound. I found a 2S mag replacement that can be used to rebuild the 4S or use it as-is. 4 hp also has the rarely seen clutch pulley. The pulley is currently stuck but all there and it exists. Fly ball governor and no tag. The 2hp BL was found needing a lot of parts. I have found an original muffler, reproduction crank guard and original piston. It needs complete head, pushrod, connecting rod and governor. It has original pulley, latch out finger and tag. I have lost interest for now and would like the space. I could probably part them out and get my asking price but that isn’t going to happen. My original idea was to have a lineup on trailer of the AL,BL, CL and DL. I do have some non-original cart parts that the 4hp was on when I purchased it that are not pictured. I also have a 3 digit serial # nelson brothers little jumbo 1 1/2 or 1 3/4 hp new Webster M mag, Sandwich 2 1/2 hp tulip top on nice home built cart, Chandler water wagon pump and new idea corn sheller. Make a good offer and take it all. It isn`t often these come up for sale and both engines are original unrestored so you can see exactly what your buying.
