Rosin Core Solder 60/40 contains flux core in Dispenser Tube The purpose of the flux core is to clean the oxides off the metals to permit a good solder joint 60/40 perfect for electronics work Rosin core solder 60/40. Good solder is a good thing. Bad solder leads to bridging and cold solder joints which can be tough to find. Don’t use any other solder for electronics work. Desoldering Wick Braid Solder Remover Removes solder quickly and easily if you are prone to incorrectly soldering parts must have. Desoldering braid removes solder quickly and easily. Just press the braid onto the connection with a hot iron and the solder wicks up into the braid. For removing solder from any solder joint. To remove solder with it, one presses the wick onto the solder joint to be removed and then heats the wick portion that is on the connection with the tip of a soldering iron. As the rosin melts onto the wick and the connection and the solder reaches its melting point the solder rushes via capillary action onto the clean copper braid. Once everything has melted and the solder fuses with the braided copper, the wick is lifted along with the solder and is then cut off and disposed of.
