Converts unbalanced RS-232 signals to Balanced, full or half duplex RS-485 signals.  RS-485 is and enhanced version of the RS-422 standard. It allows multiple drivers and receivers on a two wire system. The RS-232 port has a female DB25 connector.  The RS-485 port has a DB25 male connection and a companion DB25 Females connection already wired for a two wire 485 signal, Complete instructions with pinouts and a electrical schematic are provided. SPECIFICATIONS: Dimensions: 2.75x4.85x1.05 inches Data Rate: up to 115.2 K Baud Power Supply: 12VDC @ 100mA or 9VDC battery Two channel device( transmit and received only)
