A mop headband can be placed in the clamp jaws, which then constrict when the tightening collar is turned for a firm connection between the handle and mop head. This handle is suitable for use in commercial and industrial applications. Mop handles are typically made of wood, aluminum, or fiberglass, and are designed to provide a good strength-to-weight ratio. Mop handles connect to flat mop heads (such as dust mops or microfiber mops) by first connecting to a frame that supports the shape of the mop head.
