Extra nice near new condition MONITOOR 4/4EC hand held Geiger counter with carry case which is in near new condition. No or little signs of use and the switch graphics show no sign of wear and the battery connector has never been exposed to corrosion. Used only a few times at gem and mineral show's and kept in storage most of it's life with the battery removed. Detects Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and X-RAY radiation using a sensitive thin mica end window Geiger tube from LND which also detects higher energy Gamma and X-RAY radiation through the side. 0-50,000 C.P.M., 0-50 mR/hr, or 0-500 uSv/hr in three decades of X1, X10, and X100. Powered by one 9 volt battery and has a new alkaline battery installed which is included. Cs 137 calibration checked prior to listing.
