 A very nice ST SCHERR TUMICO 14 INCH HORIZONTAL BEAM OPTICAL COMPARATOR. Model #20-3500. S/N R803916.We cleaned this as had been in storage for some time and installed a MICRO-VU Q16 DRO on the Acu-Rite .0001 scales. The Q16 is a full metrology dro. This makes inspection much easier as many functions are built in to dro. Travel is 6.0+ in X and 4.0 in Y. Comes with 10X lens standard.  This unit has a digital rotary protractor (Q-axis) that displays on the third line of the DRO. New o-rings for angle rotary installed.  The knob at 5 o'clock rotates the screen for degrees of angle. All numbers and lines are clear and distinct. Profile and surface illumination are very clear and distinct. Uses modern halogen bulbs for profile and surface illumination. We installed a new screen in this comparator Comes with a PDF manual for the comparator and a PDF manual for the dro. Includes spare bulbs and a UPS power supply so no problems will arise from pooor power! We have many lenses available for these comparators so inquire. These are really great comparators. I use an ST for my personal comparator. IF YOU WANT A STANDARD BASIC DRO I CAN INSTALL AN ST DRO THAT IS JUST A DRO AND REDUCE PRICE BY 412.00. Table is in good condition with no dings or dents. Table is hard chrome plated. I believe these are considered 60 lb table load max. The paint shows normal wear and tear and comparator looks good. Stand not included it is one of our comparator repair stations. Please quote our shipping price. We get a 78% freight discount and are responsible for the shipment.
