Mineral oil is a great wood conditioner. Afroromosia - (Pericopsis angolensis) – and (Pericopsis elata). - This hardwood is sometimes referred to as African Teak. The heartwood is yellowish brown to greenish brown with darker streaks which is distinctly demarcated from the pale yellow-brown sapwood. The grain can be straight or curly. Selected trees can also have an irregular, interlocked figure that may also blend into an irregular curly figure. The texture is moderately fine. It is less dense than other African hardwoods and it machines nicely and polishes to a beautiful sheen. Premium Quality - All surfaces are flat and all the edges are cut clean and square. Material Details: Wood is a natural growing material. There may be bark inclusions, checks, knots, voids; resin pockets, grain irregularities, etc. found throughout the wood that may not be apparent on the surface. With burl/crotch/figured wood these irregularities are more likely and should be expected as part a burl’s nature and composition. The proper and safe use of any purchased or complimentary item(s) is the sole responsibility of the purchaser who assumes all risk and liability for the purchased or additional complimentary item(s) at the time it is shipped.
