This is a Crank Guard OR Oil Splash Guard, For A Gas Engine In the 4 - 5 Hp Range.... I Think This Is for John Lawson, Sandwich, NELSON BROS. JUMBO, MONARCH OR Fuller & Johnson Engines ?!? Please Check your Mounting Bolt Spacing & measurements Please Contact Me if you Are not sure If it will Fit, Or Be Correct For your Engine..... I will Help You Out..... This is 20" long Overall........ 4 3/4" Wide At the front & 6 1/2" Wide at the Back......... Bolt spacing is Approx. 4 1/4" at the back, One single Mounting Hole in the front by what I think Would be A relief for the Oiler. This Has A Hairline crack that Goes About Half way Across the back As can be seen in the pictures, But This Seems real Solid, Once it was on the engine it would hardly be noticeable, OR IT Could be Fixed Pretty Easily ...... Also has A funny Kind of silver or white paint, Or Oil Residue On the Bottom Side, That Washes Off with solvent But I didn't want to get carried Away cleaning It Up Has Lots Of original Paint I think It would Be fine Just like it is........ This is An Extremely Hard part to find, Most All Original Oil splash Guard/Covers Are Missing, This Is An Original Part, With Great Original Patina, it Would Look Nice On that Survivor Engine, Or It Could Be cleaned, Fixed & Painted To Match Your Restoration !!!! .......So Don't miss out on your opportunity to Complete that Fuller & Johnson Or John Lawson with A Nice Hard to find Splash Guard !!!
