Scaffold or Log Dogs, Boat Staples, Raft Dogs... 6.5" to 9.5", sample pack of 6. Call these what you will, they can be used for holding down timbers and small logs while you work them, used to hold split planks together temporarily, fasten poles for scaffolding, etc. Made of forged steel, black. Size varies from 6 1/2" to 9 1/2" wide, with 2" legs. I've roughly sorted them into three sizes. This box includes at least 30 of each size, more than 90 total. Shipping weight 47#. Wandering around China in the late '80s and early '90s, I saw these dogs or staples in use in many areas, often used to hold pole scaffolding together, and for various uses on concrete forms. In '92, I had a blacksmith shop make 1000 pounds of them, shipped them home with the other products I was importing, but never marketed them (along with many other sample goods that caught my interest). Padded flat rate envelope, 4#. This item comes from a well maintained shop. All parts have been carefully inspected, and any imperfections are fully disclosed in the listing.
