Scherr Tumico Tubular Inside Micrometer Set *incomplete* Locking Ring Broken. Offered is a Scherr-Tumico tubular inside micrometer set. It is incomplete and missing pieces. It as the micrometer, 8-9” rod, 5” rod, & two 10” rods. Comes with the original wooden case. Case is solid, clasps and hinges in good shape. Had stickers and writing in sharpie on the lid. Overall it is clean and free of rust. All rods can be linked together giving a maximum measurement of 34”. It does work well. Now for the cons - besides it missing pieces, the knurled locking ring on the micrometer is broken/split and doesn’t work. Also, it looks like someone got kind of rough with the barre of the micrometer and it is scuffed/scratched up. It also had an engraving that has since been scratched out. All of that to say, it still does work but has its flaws and drawbacks. It will still make a great addition to someone’s collection. Please see all photos as they are a part of the description.
