I got this robot arm with the intention of replacing the motors with stepper motors so I could use it with different software and standard industrial stepper motor drivers.  This would have been the second robot i converted for use in stopmotion animation, but after three months being listed here, the other robot did not sell.  As a result of the lack of interest, I am selling this one to make room for the next non-robotic project. This arm has all the mechanical gears and drive belts intact, but some wires have been cut, one motor has been removed, and the gripper motor is also gone.  It does have the cable and plug that goes into the controller.  No controller box is included in the auction. This would be a good source of parts for someone fixing another, similar robot.  It would also make a good frame for anyone wanting to switch out the motors so they could use software that controlls machines using stepper motors or a different control system.
