The Scott C420 PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator) is a government surplus item that is now available at a reduced price. This unit requires a BA-5800/U (or equivalent) battery which is not included in the sale. There are several filters available for use with this unit, however, none are included. The C420 PAPR is frequently used with AV-2000 face masks and other respirators. Some units are also available with hoses and accessories in a separate sale. These blowers are sold separately for $30 less than the kits. The unit has been tested with a battery and is in good working order. There is no physical damage and cosmetic issues are minimal, with only adhesive residue from inventory stickers on either the front or back.
