This press is a heavy-duty workhorse. It's thermostatically controlled. The thermostat is a replacement and was in use for about a year before the move. If one dimension of the item to be pressed is no greater than about 34-35", the other dimension has no limit because three sides are open. Dry mount color and black/white photos--different temperature for each. Dry mount fabric items. Make transfers onto, say, T-shirts. Now, here's the thing--it appears that replacement parts are no longer available for this unit--perhaps through a repair shop but not to the consumer. If, however, the buyer is a DIY electrician, seller believes the toggle switch can be replaced. The pad is brand new and the operator's manual and parts list are included. Location of item is only about 40 miles from Louisville and about 60 miles from Indianapolis. Hope you'll check out my many other items! Thanks very much for looking!
