The Sencore ATSC997 is a powerful and versatile signal source that offers an 8VSB modulated output signal for all UHF-VHF channels. With a fully agile modulator and variable attenuator, users can vary the frequency and level output, making it an essential tool for digital television production. This unit also supports major cable plans (FCC, IRC, HRC) for cable applications and has IF loop-through for combining with an external upconverter. It has versatile multi Transport Stream input options, including DVB Parallel input, TTL Parallel input, and DVD loading, with the option to play directly from the DVD drive. This unit has been decommissioned from the EE lab of a major manufacturer that closed a facility and is in excellent condition. It comes with the manual and is guaranteed to be in perfect working order. The optional 8VSB Demodulator card allows the unit to receive, tune, and demodulate an 8VSB channel to a parallel ATSC data stream for direct off-the-air recording. Additionally, this unit is optioned with the extended playtime option (240 minutes instead of 120).
