The Sencore VP401 and OTC1000 Multimedia Video Generator and Display Calibration Kit is a top-of-the-line equipment for testing, troubleshooting, and calibrating video displays. The VP401 video generator provides various signal types, including RGB, video, Y/C, and YPbPr component, for testing any video displays, including LCD and plasma panels. It also has selectable resolution formats and a DVI signal output for testing LCD displays with DVI inputs. With precision video test patterns, accurate adjustments for focus, color, hue, convergence, deflection size, picture linearity, and black level display are ensured. The VP401 is handheld, portable, and battery-operated, making it ideal for on-site troubleshooting applications and quickly diagnosing problems with the display or video circuits. It comes with six internal AA NiMh rechargeable batteries that provide eight hours of use time, as well as an AC 12V regulated charger/adapter that recharges it in eight hours. The OTC1000 uses a laser-aiming tool for proper screen alignment, and its setup and user interface are straightforward. With this equipment, you can measure and calibrate precisely what the viewer will see, with non-contact measurement convenience. This top-caliber video generator and display calibration kit is bundled with power cords/power supply, gender adapters, interconnect cabling, software, manuals, and a carrying case, so you can conveniently take it with you to calibrate and test displays. The OTC1000 optical color analyzer, on the other hand, is a non-contact color analyzer that measures, calibrates, and documents display devices. With ambiblock technology, it eliminates ambient light interference from measurements, while low-light accuracy down to 0.01 fL takes continuous constant-rate (less than one second) measurement updates. Optical measurements accurately include the effects of luminance levels, screen gain, uniformity, or hot spotting that influence how video will be seen at the viewing position. In combination with the Sencore ColorPro, the VP401 also provides WINDOW test patterns, with adjustable IRE level steps for accurate display color calibration. Furthermore, it easily interfaces with Sencore cables for testing monitors with specialized input RGB connections.
