This listing is for a Sensit Gold CGI gas detector. This unit shows signs of use. I replaced the batteries and it powered up. Comes with a case. The case is missing a latch and has a piece missing from the hinge, but is in usable condition. I do not know much about this tool. It seems to me that it is working normally. It powers up, I hear a pump drawing air into the device. After about a minute of the device running it says "Purging Down" but will go back into the main screen that shows the gases that your measuring when you hit the enter button. I am assuming this is a normal part of its operation. When I breathed into the device I got the tool the register one of the gases. There is a wheel on the side of the tool that makes a clicking beeping noise that works well.
