 I plugged them all in for the day and they all communicated with each other at 30feet + apart. When you press the call button on any one the other two make a call tone. When you talk on any one the other 2 speak what you say. They have 2 channels: A and B. You can set them all the same or turn one to A, one to B and have one that you switch between the two to communicate with either as you choose. Or leave them all on the same channel and they all communicate at the same time, if you get what I mean. I also have the original instruction sheet.
