SHARS NMTB 40 ER-16 ER Collet Chuck Holder Product Code 202-1412 Product description Shank: NMTB40 Type: ER-16 Drawbar End: 5/8"-11 Gage Length: 2.75" Overall Length: 6.43" Collet Nut Diameter: 28 mm Runout at collet face: 0.0001" Product features Reduced nose diameter under the flange to allow compatibility to quick change system Taper ground to AT3 or better accuracy standard for maximum contact with spindle Runout is less than 0.0001" from taper to end mill pocket Made of alloy steel and hardened to HRc 52 and all critical surface is precision ground Each holder comes with a lab certificate on its taper accuracy and runout measurement 2 Flats on the nose of the tool holder can be used with an adjustable wrench to assist in tightening the ER collet nut In a generic standard ER collet nut, an internal ring is off-centered so that an ER collet can be easily snapped into it and holds the ER collet in place.  To minimize this off-centering, SHARS ER collet nut is optimized to distribute the flat sides' area to off-set the off-center If you need to speak to a sales person feel free to call.
