This is from my original Apteryx XV3 Digital x-ray system purchased in 2003. The Suni sensor was purchased in 2008.  Apteryx is now Sigma Biomedics. I am not selling the Apteryx software, just the sensor and it's serial box interface that plugs into a USB port.  The sensor software is also included. please check your existing digital x-ray system to make sure that this configuration is compatible. The Suni digital sensor is compatible with most dental x-ray software but please check with your vendor before purchasing as there are no refunds. I used the sensor till early 2014, but I stopped because I upgraded to a new system. The sensor gave me very nice images and worked well. I placed electrical tape at the base of the sensor on the connecting wire. there was no problem with the wire itself. I placed the electric tape as an added cushion and precaution for heavy biters.
