New Sign Post Base & Protector is made of a durable, polyethylene material. Highly visible colors are molded-in and never require painting. May be filled with concrete, sand or stone. Top cover locks into place after installation. Weighs up to 450 lbs. when base is filled with concrete. Protector Base allows for placement of freestanding posts and signs wherever needed (permanent or temporary), they may also be used to place over an existing post by removing existing sign and sliding the base over top of the post. Comes with base and snap lock cover, post and sign NOT included (however is available for an extra cost). Easy one person installation! Standard colors available are Yellow, Blue (great for handicapped spots) and Red. Custom colors may also be ordered. Refer to pictures for standard base and our optional concrete sleeve with adjustable height square 2" x 2" steel post and sign package available for an additional charge. We have these bases available in any quantity you may need. Please contact us in regards to a volume discount when ordering 12 or more. 1) PROTECT AN EXISTING POST: Slip over existing inground post and fill with concrete, sand or stone for post protection. 2) ADD A NEW POST AND SIGN: Add concrete, sand or stone around a new post.  3) PROVIDE TEMPORARY SIGNAGE: Just tip 'n roll for easy placement as needed. Additional Information: • Measures 24" High with a base width of 26" and a top width: 16".  • Sleeve diameter is 4" and outer wall thickness is 0.187".  • Empty weight of 15 lbs. and inside volume of 28 gallons. • Durable polyethylene construction • Molded-in color never needs painting • Easy one-person installation • May be filled with concrete, sand or stone • Weighs up to 400 lbs when filled (depends on fill material) • Protect an Inground Signpost - Slip over inground post and fill base with concrete, sand or stone • Create a Portable Signpost - Fill base with concrete, sand, or stone and insert signpost.
