This adhesive and sealant has been approved by USDA and AAMA, making it an eco-friendly product that is safe to use. With all these features, Silco 9500 GRAY Eco-Flex EF-9500 Adhesive Sealant is an ideal product for bonding and sealing various surfaces, making it a must-have for any construction project. Eco-Flex EF-9500 High Performance Hybrid Sealant is a VOC compliant formula that offers UV stability and firm bonding to a wide range of substrates. It is a one component, high modulus, mildew resistant multipurpose silyl-terminated polyether (hybrid) elastomeric sealant and adhesive. Some of the substrates that it can bond to include PVC, concrete, glass, aluminum, painted surfaces, wood, plywood, marble, metal, and many others. This formula was developed to offer all-weather performance to meet today's Green Building Standards. Silco 9500 is a superior product that bonds like a urethane, has UV resistance like a silicone, and is still paintable! It has many unique properties like excellent adhesion, meeting ASTM C-920, Type-S, NS, Class 25, adhesion to Kynar 500, mildew resistance, flexibility, durability, non-shrinking, non-cracking, VOC compliance, no solvents, and no isocyanates, UV resistance (ASTM G26), color stability, non-yellowing, non-corrosive, and resistance to most chemicals. Silco 9500 GRAY Eco-Flex EF-9500 Adhesive Sealant comes in a pack of 4-TUBES that are USDA approved and each tube is 10oz. To use this product, it is highly recommended to use an ALBION B26 or our ATC B26 Heavy Duty Caulking gun, or an equal alternative. This is because the material is naturally very stiff (Polyether Sealant) and shoots like a Stiff Urethane Caulk, making it challenging to handle.
