This is the more common & widely used version of the SKIL 100. Plane is in very good used shape. Some of the sole shows typical wear (see pics) but otherwise is in really nice clean condition. Plane fires up and works like a champ. Comes with the blades already installed (may need sharpening). Depth adjustment works as it should. Really a nice used power plane. This will be a great tool for a carpenter or for making surfboards. It has been used but well cared for. It has the original cord. Specs: Model 100 3" wide plane capacity 115 volts 5.5 amps The tool box is about 20'' & 10 1/4'' X 8''. It weights 24 lbs 1 oz. The shipping weight is 28 lbs. This was part of a Federal Surplus Sale at the Idaho Nuclear Laboratory (INL) in the Central Idaho desert. The sale was divided by operational & non-operational & this was classified as operational. They had torn down many, many buildings. (I worked at the INL for 17 years & I never saw more Federal dollars waste in my life. Both in work or lack of & materiel. Endless waste of anything & everything.) IT WORKS GREAT. eBay in their greed & disrespect for the seller charge (the seller) 10% of what (the buyer) pays for shipping. (Is it legal?) If the buyer pays me $20.00 for shipping ebay charges me $2.00 for the honor of doing the shipping even if the shipping costs more. This is to encourage free shipping & discourage high shipping charges. And as mentioned greed. The shipping is of course never FREE to the seller.
