My late father was an engineer and after his retirement he liked to go to auctions so I figure he picked this item up at an auction.  I was a field artillery survey in the army in the late 1980s but a T-16 theodolite is very different from this transit so I don't know how to make sure this item is fully functional so I am selling it as is.  The tag in the box says it was last serviced in 1980.  All of the control moves and the bubble levels are still full of fluid.  The telescope is clear and focuses.  The compass needle floats and finds magnetic North. The plumb bob is missing. I tried take a photo of the specifications.  The exterior of the carrying case is rough but it is intact and has protected the instrument.  The box has "Skyline Denver"  and this is also on the face of the compass.  The plumb bob hanger is present and the optic sunshade is also in the box.  If you have question or want specific view photographed just ask.
