Manufacturer: SMC Condition: For Parts or Not Working. This chiller is in Good cosmetic condition with minor blemishes from prior use. There are light scuffs/scratches in the paint and some minor deposits visible on the cooling water male fitting, but the reservoir and recirculating fluid fittings look clean. Notes: This chiller is in at-least-partial working condition. The pump runs strong, the controls respond to button presses and the water leak detector works. We looped inlet to outlet and supplied cooling water and very briefly saw up to 6GPM circulating flow. The flow rapidly dropped to zero and a low flow alarm went off. When we disconnected the circulating fluid return, the line was pressurized and when we started the pump again a powerful jet of water shot out from the circulating fluid pressure line. We are not sure if a valve is not working, the control logic is not working, or if something is clogged. No other testing was done.
