Solid Carbide Micro Drills of the Highest Quality, sold in boxes of 50. These drills are sharp and ready to go to work. Mfg. by Kemmer Prazision a Kennametal Company and Quality Tech Tools Solid Carbide drills. There are a few boxes that are brand new, however most have been repointed once. Repointing was done by Kemmer Prazision, QTT, and Carolina Custom Tools. Thanks to Laser inspection they were removed for repointing with hardly any point wear and have almost 100% flute length. All have .125 inch diameter shanks. These are suitable for a variety of uses, Jewelers, Silversmiths, Hobbyists, Micro Machining, Printed Circuit Board Mfg., Etc... As a note, some of these drills (a completely different lot) were used in high precision micro machining in various different exotic and tough metals, using spindle speeds from 8000 to 15000 RPM they worked very well in that application as well. A little history on these: These were purchased new a few years ago by a very large Corporation that owned a large PCB Mfg plant that drilled a lot of different materials using air bearing machines running up to 180,000 RPM. The Corp liquidated it's circuit board drilling plants and we acquired these, they have been properly stored in our facility with temp and humidity control since. Time for them to go. We are selling complete boxes of 50pcs, the price is for one box of fifty drills.
