This is a machine that was sold from a manufacturer in Minneapolis. Unit has power but does not produce current. I am selling this machine for parts which you can use to repair an existing unit you might own. All three types of secondary current are included for magnetizing purposes, and they may be used in any combination. Both magnetizing coil and field flow fixtures are included for longitudinal magnetization of test objects. Furthermore, uni-directional magnetization as well as “3-D” multi- directional magnetization in two or three directions are incorporated, as well as means for toroidal magnetization The “MINI 3-D” S-3035 series is unique in that it provides for two separate and discrete power trains, unlike other multi-directional magnetizing stations. As is universally known, magnetizing a part or structure in two or more directions is essential because of the limitations within the theory of the method. The field generated by each direction will be influenced in no more than 45 degrees from the direction of current flow or field flow. Thus, while in some cases the interest is in locating potential flaws in only one direction, in the overwhelming number of cases, two or more magnetizing cycles would be needed.
