Up for sale is my South Bend 13" metal lathe. I just got a 15" lathe and need this one out of the way. Until it sells I'm still going to be using it so it still has chips on it. That's a good sign, it means it works. This is a 1943 model with a 6' bed and single tumbler gear box. It only threads standard threads, not metric.  It is 3 phase and has a 1hp motor. I have it running off a VFD because 3 phase isn't available where I live. The VFD is not included but can be for a little extra if you want it. The lathe comes with two different size 3-jaw chucks, one 4-jaw chuck, small and large dog drive plate, steady rest, micrometer carriage stop, Jacobs chuck for the tail stock, the pictured tool/collet holder, spindle thread protector and it is equipped with the taper attachment. It has a Schars BXA quick change tool post and a couple tool holders and a knurler.  It has normal wear for a machine of its age.  I can help load it into a low, open style utility trailer using a tractor on a Sunday. If you come any other day of the week or with any other type of trailer I may not be able to do much to help, but I'll try. Any questions, please ask. I'm not a machinist but I'll do my best to help.
