South Bend Heavy Ten on original loop tube cabinet base, under drive model. Baldor 220/440V 3/4 Hp Three phase motor, 4' bed. This has the large spindle bore and the large satin dials. This lathe is in fine original condition and is capable of holding fine tolerances. 8" South Bend four jaw chuck, 5C collet draw bar, 5c Spindle nose adapter, spindle nose protector, Taper attachment, Steady rest, micrometer stop, threading dial, Drill chuck and key, original wrenches for tail stock and carriage lock, Small face plate, large face plate, cross slide cover for when taper attachment is removed, spare drive belt, all sign plates present and in good condition, brochures and parts lists file. Machine is tight with acceptable normal bed wear for it's era, machine is in great condition with scraping marks still visible. Can be seen under power by appointment after 5pm. This is a great lathe and is one of the best condition examples around with the desirable long 48" bed. Extra tooling together with a TECO FM50 VFD to run this lathe off 110v available at reasonable cost if desired. Assistance can be given to load but transport arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer.
