The Model 1211 Automatic laser plummet can be used or adapted to tripods or manhole mounts for setting up over a station point. The Model 1211 Automatic Laser Plummet, replaces the traditional plumb-bob and string or an optical instrument's optical plummet.  Features: High visible laser beam Wide 10 degree self- leveling operating range Can be used in the dark Can be used in the wind Quickly sets up over the station point Accuracy similar to that of a plumb bob (depends on the slope of the tripod head) Double function: Automatic Plummet, Tripod bolt The 1211 consists of a laser source, two AAA size, 1.5V Alkaline battery cells, an ON/OFF switch, and two liquid-optic cells. These liquid-optic cells operate as the unit's compensator 1211 Laser Plummet Replaces the bell housing "instrument hold down" on the manhole assembly or tripod Provides a compensated laser beam Easily removed Allows for quick set up Auto plumbing-- visible red laser that replaces the 5/8 x 11 instrument hold down on tripods or on the 1017 Manhole Mount. Versatile—lets you decide to first position the laser, or the instrument, over the manhole centerline for varying job conditions.
