These cells have 2 clear windows and an open top. The walls of the cell and the bottom are smooth on the inside. On the outside, the light path windows are clear while the adjacent windows and the bottome are frosted or grey. Typically, windows are 1.25 mm thick and each cell in this range is supplied with a non-sealing PTEE cover. usable range: 190 to 2500nm. supplied with 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 40, 50, 100mm pathlengths (please check my other listings); most commonly used is 10mm pathlength. All the cells, unless specifically designed otherwise, are assembled a fully fused method. This technique ensures that cells are fused into a single homogeneous unit by heat alone, using no intermediate adhesive. The cells achive maximum physical strength as well as being unaffected by solvents. All cells are carefully annealed to remove any residual strain left from the fusing process and, with few exceptions, can be used safely with pressure differentials of up to three atmospheres.
