Star PST14I Description The Star PST14I Pro-Max 2.0® panini press has heavy cast iron plates that efficiently press product while evenly distributing heat. These plates are smooth to facilitate cleaning, so they do not leave grill marks like grooved plates. When the top plate is closed, 3 inches are left to accommodate thick product. Resistant to bending and breaking, the durable hinge system can withstand repeatedly opening and closing. Analog thermostat controls for the press operate from 175 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. The electrical connections are protected from damage by an oil- and water-resistant conduit, and with its stainless steel construction, the body resists rust and provides strength. To reduce the risk of overheating, 3-inch legs elevate the Star PST14I sandwich grill off the countertop.
